8/19/2007 - Unkle Nancy

On August 19th at 4:00pm, CD WORLD will help celebrate the release of Uncle Nancy's debut CD 'Lovely'. LOVELY is a story of a poet named Lonesome falling in love with a woman named Lovely. Unkle Nancy began writing Lovely in 2005 working hard with his long time drummer and back up singer BUNNY to craft and polish the songs that have, to date, been considered their life's work. In 2006 Unkle Nancy joined forces with long time friend and colaborator MARVELLIS to help start THE IMAGINARY FRIENDS. Through MARV, NANCY was introduced to cellist, YOKO, and record producer PAUL BUSTRIN. Late after one of the first Imaginary Friends jam sessions, Paul (on electric guitar), Nancy and Yoko played on some of the LOVELY songs, the result was pure magic. In April of 2007 Paul began producing LOVELY with Nancy on guitar, banjo and vocals; BUNNY on drums and back up vocals; YOKO on cello; PAUL BUSTRIN on guitar, and long time friend and corroborator EZEL from the JUICE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN on bass. Come join the celebration! Always free.
